Admin is able to define downloads in the product admin area. Attached downloads has three accessibility modes:
- visible and downloaded by all users,
- visible to all but can be downloaded only by customer who purchased the product (the order has either Processed or Completed status)
- visible and accessible only to customer who purchased the product.
Module features:
File type Icon Assign - scripts displaying the download links at the product page picks appropriate file type icon from the icons set. Icons for the following types are included in module package: zip, rar, doc, pdf, xls, jpg, gif, png, mp3, avi, etc. Site admin can add new ones or replace existing via FTP.
Auto File Size Calculation - When a file has been upload the mod calculates the file size and display it in either Bytes, KB, or MB depending on the size of the file.
Anti Leech, Hotlink protection - The mod has an option to allow downloads only via the clients site. If a file is attempted to be download by anyone not on the clients site they should be redirected to the product page of the download.
Downloads Statistics - the mod calculates the number of downloads for the current month, and the overall total number of downloads per file.
Also, there is handy Ajax-based user interface to manage download links in admin area. Admin can select files either from 'files' directory at the server or pick any file from the local computer. Admin can upload any number of files per product and give different access mode to each one.
